A private island is an island which was bought by a player from the game itself (if not owned by any player, the only way you can buy private country owned by another is by them selling it on the Market) and is ruled by the player itself. He is the only one who can set bonuses and declare wars. A player can move to a private island under the private country tab and search for the island he want to join (Eg, click on inventory and find the square tab "Private Counties" in the lower left side of the webpage). After joining, you won't be able to leave the island for at least 72 hours.

Advantages and Benefits on Joining Private Countries

You might think that private countries are just like normal countries, but actually it is not. In terms of bonuses private countries usually have more than that of a non-private countries.

-- Various bonuses and incentives like Level Up Bonus, Daily Bonus, Population Reached Bonus and many more as long as the state can afford it.

-- Protection against foreign attacks (I advice you to join Antarctica since it is a big country and people are afraid of attacking it)

-- Fellow citizens won't attack each other.

-- And many more!

BONUSES

The good thing about Antarctica is that they ensure that the bonuses they give to their citizens won't make the state less productive. Though you might say the bonuses are small, it is still for the benefit of us citizen. They won't lower the bonuses they give. instead they will increase it whenever possible as long as, again, it won't make the state less productive.
